Kaivalya Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Kaivalya mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service").

Kaivalya is a personal discipline, routine, habit-tracking, and self-improvement application designed to help users:

Kaivalya is intended to be a personal productivity and self-discipline tool.

You may use Kaivalya only if you are legally permitted to use the Service under the laws applicable to you.

If you are using Kaivalya on behalf of another person or organization, you confirm that you have the authority to accept these Terms on their behalf.

If you are under the minimum age required by applicable law to provide consent to data processing or use the Service independently, you should use Kaivalya only with appropriate parental or guardian involvement where required.

Some Kaivalya features may require an account or user profile.

You are responsible for:

Kaivalya allows you to record personal information related to your discipline and daily journey. This may include daily routines, Sankalp vows, streaks, league ranks, relapse/recovery records, and personal notes.

You remain responsible for the information you enter into Kaivalya.

Kaivalya is designed with an offline-first approach.

Certain information may be stored locally on your device so that you can continue using supported features without an internet connection.

When synchronization is available, selected information may be transmitted to Kaivalya's backend services depending on connectivity, server availability, app version, and device storage.

We cannot guarantee that synchronization will always occur immediately or without interruption.

You agree to use Kaivalya responsibly and only for lawful purposes.

You MUST NOT:

You may create or enter information within Kaivalya ("User Content").

You retain full ownership rights to your User Content.

By using features that require your User Content to be processed by Kaivalya, you grant Kaivalya the limited rights necessary to store, process, synchronize, display, and secure your information back to you.

We do not obtain ownership of your personal User Content merely because you use Kaivalya.

Kaivalya, including its name, logo, branding, design, interface, graphics, features, software, and documentation is owned by or licensed to Kaivalya and its developer.

Kaivalya may receive updates from time to time for bug fixes, security improvements, performance enhancements, and new features.

Some updates may be necessary to continue using certain features. We may discontinue support for older application versions when reasonably necessary for security or operational reasons.

We aim to keep Kaivalya reliable and available, but we cannot guarantee that the Service will always be uninterrupted or error-free.

Service may occasionally be unavailable due to maintenance, updates, server issues, network failures, or events beyond our control.

You are responsible for maintaining appropriate backups of information that is important to you.

We are not responsible for information lost solely due to device failure, loss or theft, manual clearing of app data, uninstallation, or unsupported device modifications.

Kaivalya may rely on third-party infrastructure or services to provide certain technical functionality. Third-party services may have their own terms and privacy policies.

We may suspend or restrict access to Kaivalya where reasonably necessary, including when Terms are violated or security is at risk.

You may stop using Kaivalya at any time by clearing data or uninstalling the app.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Kaivalya is provided on an "as available" and "as is" basis without warranties of any kind.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Kaivalya and its developer will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

We may update these Terms when Kaivalya evolves or when changes are required for legal or operational reasons. Your continued use of Kaivalya after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the applicable laws of India, subject to mandatory statutory rights.
